T here are an estimated 3,000 African tribes spread across the African continent, each with their own dialect and culture. Tribes are considered a community of people who share the same culture and dialect, and are linked by social, economic, religious or blood ties. Africa’s diversity is reflected in the constitution with the recognition of 11 official languages and is referred to as the Rainbow Nation.
